Yesterday is a tactile exploration of time, memory, and nature. By layering organic leaves onto a deep blue acrylic base, I wanted to create a seamless, yet intriguing, interplay between the natural world and the painted surface. Using oil paints to blend real and painted leaves, the viewer is invited to question where nature ends and art begins. This piece is a playful commemoration of the past while looking toward the future.
