Sprout (2024) is an abstract 20x16 acrylic painting exploring rich, earthy browns and creams punctuated by vibrant pink, purple, and yellow. This non-representational, "pre-art school" work represents a "fledgling beginning of artistic exploration," focusing on emotional expression through color and texture. It’s called Sprout because it’s quite literally the first growth of my abstract style. It’s raw, intuitive, and a favorite memory of my early exploration.
