As one of my earliest works, Possibilities, marks the moment I realized my art career was really beginning, regardless of starting later in life. It’s a study in perspective, but more importantly, it is a study in mood. Atmosphere over accuracy. I chose to omit a statue from the original photo to focus entirely on the interplay of the lights and the atmosphere, capturing a sense of endless potential and how it can also tell other stories. Building layers to create a tactile, slightly matte finish to enhance a quiet, contemplative feeling.
