"No paint brushes were harmed in the making of this painting."
This piece began as a challenge to relinquish control, swapping brushes for raw kinetic energy. Using stencils, spray paint, strings, palette knife, and the literal breath of air-in-a-can, I allowed the pigments to dance across the canvas. What emerged was a chaotic, organic, and eventually floral, abstraction. It is a work finished with cold wax, named for the way the petals formed—shaped only by the wind.
