Sculpted 90% by palette knife and direct hand-wrought manipulation to mimic the earth's shifting crust, the intense, heavy aggregate texture travels continuously from the front face right over the edges of the panel.
This 10x10 composition features a dramatic, glossy jet-black fissure slicing through exposed layers of sediment and light, exposing the deep, glowing fluorescent layers underneath. The piece offers a rich tactile experience, balancing raw, matte sand textures with a high-gloss charcoal stream. Because the organic texture completely wraps the sides, it displays beautifully frame-free.
